Let it shine — with care.
At Luzza Studio, we carefully select materials that combine beauty, durability, and comfort — so you can wear your favourite pieces every day, without worries.
Our jewellery is mainly crafted from high-quality stainless steel, often finished with a protective layer of PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating or gold plating, depending on the style.

What is Stainless Steel?
Stainless steel is a strong, rust-resistant metal known for its durability and low maintenance.
Unlike brass or copper-based jewellery, stainless steel doesn’t tarnish or lose its shine easily — even after regular wear.
It’s also nickel-free or extremely low in nickel release, which is why it’s considered hypoallergenic and suitable for most sensitive skin types.

Is it Waterproof?
Yes — most of our pieces are water-resistant, thanks to the natural properties of stainless steel and the protective coating applied to them. That means they can handle a bit of rain or sweat without discolouring.
However, we still recommend removing your jewellery before:- Showering
- Swimming
- Using skincare or cleaning products.
This helps extend the life of the gold plating and keeps your jewellery looking fresh for longer.

How Long Does the Finish Last?
With proper care, Luzza pieces can last for years.
offers superior durability compared to traditional gold plating. It bonds the finish to the metal at a molecular level — making it more resistant to fading, scratching, and tarnish.
gold plating, the finish can last 12 to 24 months depending on use and exposure — and even longer with gentle wear and storage.
Care Tips

Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, oils and cleaning products
These substances often contain alcohol, acids or harsh chemicals that can weaken protective coatings and fade gold plating over time.
Even water-resistant jewellery benefits from avoiding prolonged exposure to beauty products, as they can leave a film on the surface or cause discolouration.
Tip: Apply perfume or lotion before putting on your jewellery — and let it dry fully.
Remove before showering or sleeping
Even though our jewellery is water-resistant, daily exposure to hot water and soap can gradually wear down the finish.
At night, tossing and turning while sleeping may cause friction, which could lead to fine scratches or tangling (especially with necklaces and chains).
Tip: Keep a small dish or pouch by your bed and in the bathroom to make it easy to remove and store.
Store in a dry place, preferably in individual pouches or boxes
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth — avoid polishing creams or harsh chemicals
A quick wipe with a dry microfiber or jewellery cloth helps remove skin oils, dust, and buildup from daily wear.
Avoid jewellery cleaners or silver polishes — they’re made for different metals and might damage stainless steel or plated finishes.
Tip: You don’t need to clean every day — just once a week or after a full day of wear is enough to keep the glow.
